CA Scotland helped almost 20,000 low-income Lothians people gain £9m with financial ‘health checks’. Launched in August this year, they offer financial advice to maximise incomes by ensuring people are not paying more than necessary for essential goods and services, and that they’re getting all the benefits, grants and exemptions they’re entitled to. Debt advice is also available. Well done to everyone involved in the campaign #TalkMoney @CitAdviceScot
