New Data from Public Health Scotland show that Scotland is facing a tidal wave of health problems

According to new data from Public Health Scotland, in September 2020, there were 14,443 on the waiting list for key diagnostic tests, with 7,680 waiting more than four weeks and 6,265 waiting more than six.

This is compared to 2,995 people waiting more than four weeks in the same period in 2019 and 1,913 people waiting over six months.

Scotland is facing a tidal wave of health problems and the Scottish Government must urgently give our NHS the support it needs in order to prevent unnecessary deaths and chronic illness
