Public Health Scotland released figures showing that across Scotland there were 151,701 fewer operations scheduled in 2020 compared with 2019, a 44.9%.
The number of planned operations in December 2020 dropped by 35.1% compared to December 2019, from 25,791 down to 16,740. Resources are urgently needed to remobilise our NHS so that people are not missing out on life-saving diagnosis & treatment. https://beta.isdscotland.org/…/cancelled-planned…/
