At the Ministerial Statement on Parliamentary elections 2021, I asked the Minister to address concerns over staff & voter safety at polling stations & the need for clarity on postal votes. It’s also vital to see the assessment carried out of the impact that the upcoming election campaign will have on the prevalence of Covid & on the likelihood of people to vote so that public health comes first.
